Trek Factory Racing has rounded out its roster of climbers with the signing of Laurent Didier (LUX), Matt Busche (USA), Haimar Zubeldia (ESP), and Robert Kišerlovski (HRV). The four WorldTour veterans represent a foundation upon which the team will support its GC contenders.

"These four riders form a strong group of guys that have more than just one card to play: they can ride for their own result, but they can also ride in support of a leader, said Trek Factory Racing General Manager Luca Guercilena.

A consistent competitor throughout RadioShack-Leopard Trek's stage race efforts, Laurent Didier brings a wealth of WorldTour experience to Trek Factory Racing's climbing corps. The addition of Didier brings the team's Luxembourg contingent to four strong riders all representing a different aspect to the overall team structure. Didier's experience and versatility will be shown throughout the schedule including stage races and select Classics. "I'm happy to be reunited with such a great group of riders and friends," said Didier. "I'm comfortable as a domestique and am ready to work for this team."

Former US National Champion, Matt Busche, will compete in a variety of races for Trek Factory Racing in 2014. A key component to Chris Horner's 2013 Vuelta a España victory as well as a consistent competitor in select one-day races, Busche has proved himself a valuable and versatile asset to the team's stage and classics race efforts. "I'm very happy to be staying with Trek. I've been riding Trek since turning pro in 2010 and the decision to stay was pretty easy," said Busche. "They have helped me improve a lot as a cyclist in four years and I'm confident that this is a good team for me to progress to the next level. I'm excited to see what the future holds!"

Bolstering the new team's stage and select Classics is the Basque veteran Haimar Zubeldia. Having ridden for a Trek-sponsored team since his time with Astana in 2009, Zubeldia is intimately familiar with the equipment that he will race upon in 2014 with Trek Factory Racing. "It shows a lot to me that Trek has the confidence to sign me to the new team," said Zubeldia. "I have a lot of experience to pass on and am excited to compete again." The team will depend on the veteran in a variety of ways including mentoring the team's younger climbers. "He's very available as a mentor to the young guys, and that's of huge value to the team," said Guercilena.

Croatia's national champion, Robert Kišerlovski has signed onto Trek Factory Racing after a season of contributing to the RadioShack-Leopard Trek's stage racing efforts. Most notably, Kišerlovski played a key supporting role to the team's Vuelta a España effort. "The team had a lot of confidence in me from the beginning and this past season showed me that I made the right choice to further with this group of riders," said Kišerlovski. "Most of them move to Trek Factory Racing in 2014 which makes me happy. This is a professional team and most of all a group I consider friends."
