Amets Txurruka (Caja Rural-RGA) has won the Criterium Memorial Maria Isabel Clavero held on Saturday in Las Rozas. Delio Fernández and Marcos Garcia completed the podium on a festive day that was animated by speaker Juan Mari Guajardo.
Markel Irizar, Haimar Zubeldia, David Arroyo, Pello Bilbao, Gustavo César Veloso, Delio Fernandez, Victor de la Parte were among the other pro riders to join the event alongside former riders Pavel Tonkov, Dani Clavero, Carlos Barredo, Koldo Fernández, Aitor Galdos, Pedro Horrillo, Miguel Angel Martin Perdiguero and Chechu Rubiera.
Txurruka did 15 laps of a 1.2 kilometer circuit. Chechu Rubiera was the best former pro and Antonio Martin Pispajo prevailed among masters.
The Madrid test consisted of three rounds, the first for masters 30-40 and seniors, the second for professional and U23 riders and the third and last race for former professionals.
