The list of provisional suspensions of the International Cycling Union has been expanded with three new names after two Iranian riders tested positive for testosterone in the Tour of Iran in May.
Ahad Kazemi who rides for Tabriz Shahrdari, was second in the race. This is his second positive test for the 41-year-old who is likely to end his career if the B sample confirms the result.
The second positive test is from his teammate Alireza Haqi, 37 who did not impress in the race. He rode for Hy Sport – Look at the time.
The final case was announced by the organizers of the Red Hook Criterium de Milan. Colombian Mario Duque Paz tested positive for EPO. The latter is 22 years old and rides for Vivo Team Grupo Oresy.
