LAMPRE-MERIDA will be back in Italian races after the Vuelta a Espana and the two Canadian World Tour events.
On Wednesday and on Thursday, the team directed by Marco Marzano will participate in Coppa Bernocchi and Coppa Agostoni.
In Coppa Bernocchi, which will start and finish in Legnano (192 km), Feng, Ferrari, Modolo, Niemiec, Zurlo and the three trainees Masnada, Ravasi and Troia will make up the roster.
In Coppa Agostoni, 199 km with start and finish in Lissone, Modolo, Niemiec and Zurlo, the three trainees Masnada, Ravasi and Troia and the two riders who'll participate on in the European Championships in the Italian national team, Ulissi and Conti, will be at the start.
"The two races are suitable both for sprinters and for fighting riders," sports director Marzano explained. "Our team has enough talent to aim to achieve good results. Modolo is very fast and he can be protagonist, also because he'll rely on the support of the whole team.
"If the races will become selective, Niemiec and Zurlo will have their opportunity to try to achieve good results. We'll fully rely on the three trainees Masnada, Ravasi and Troia, who are top quality riders and will be surely competitive.
"Conti and Ulissi will check their condition in view of the European Championships."
