Two LAMPRE-MERIDA riders who were protagonists in the recent Giro d'Italia, are ready to return to racing: Diego Ulissi (winner of the Fiuggi stage) and Jan Polanc (king of the Abetone) will take part in the Tour de Slovenie, scheduled from June 18-21
The blue-fuchsia-selection for the short stages race will be directed by the duo Maini-Scirea who'll count also on Mattia Cattaneo, Chun Kai Feng, Roberto Ferrari, Manuele Mori, Ilia Koshevoy and Maximiliano Richeze.
Polanc will be the main rider of the team for the overall classification, considering that he'll be motivated by racing on his home roads. Ulissi will search for good feedbacks in view of the national championships which will take place at the end of the month. Two other riders will test their fitness in their comeback, Mattia Cattaneo and Ilia Koshevoy.
Roberto Ferrari and Maximiliano Richeze will be the sprinters of the team and they'll be able to search for personal satisfactions in the final stage in Novo Mesto. Manuele Mori will have the assignement of joining breakaways.
