Two hilly and challenging races await Etixx – Quick-Step in the week-end, and the riders will head to them beaming with confidence after the successful campaign they’ve enjoyed just a couple of days ago at the inaugural edition of Tour La Provence, where the team won two stages, two distinctive jerseys and managed to place two riders into the top 5 of the overall classification.
The 16th Classic Sud Ardèche (Guilherand-Granges – Guilherand-Granges, 182.7 km) is scheduled on Saturday, February 27th, when the peloton will face a rolling and revamped course, which includes no less than 21 climbs. The top of the last one comes less than five kilometers from the arrival, which will very likely make up for an explosive finale. One day later, the riders will line-up for the 4th edition of the Drôme Classic (Livron – Livron, 203.8 km), ready to tackle its 15 hills and face the mistral on their way to victory.
Etixx – Quick-Step for Classic Sud Ardèche and Drôme Classic:
Maxime Bouet, Gianluca Brambilla, Rodrigo Contreras, David De La Cruz, Davide Martinelli, Pieter Serry, Petr Vakoc, Carlos Verona.
