The BMC Racing Team landed three riders in the top 10 of the overall standings after Thursday's individual time trial at the Eneco Tour.
Greg Van Avermaet, Manuel Quinziato and Philippe Gilbert finished sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively, in the 14-kilometer race against the clock. They now sit in the same spots on the general classification with three days of the race to go.
"We did a very good time trial," BMC Racing Team Sport Director Valerio Piva said. "All three of those guys did their best. Now, the next three days will be hard."
Jos van Emden (Team LottoNL-Jumbo) won the stage to take the overall lead. Van Avermaet (at 14 seconds), Quinziato (at 16 seconds) and Gilbert (at 20 seconds) slotted into the overall standings within 18 seconds of van Emden.
Friday's stage travels across a hilly, 179 km course from Belgium into The Netherlands.
