Past Paris-Tours winner Greg Van Avermaet will lead the BMC Racing Team Sunday in its final race of the season on the European continent. Van Avermaet will receive support in order to regain the throne of the prestige classic.
Van Avermaet soloed to win the 2011 edition of the autumn classic. Among the six riders joining him on the roster for the 231-kilometer race is past Swiss national road champion Michael Schär and past Slovakian national time trial champion Peter Velits.
