Yesterday Lars van der Haar was hit by a car in a roundabout. The European cyclo-cross champion escaped the accident with a few bruises.

 

 

"A small scare today. Got hit by a car in a roundabout! Luckily I came off with only a small bruise on my shoulder," he tweeted.

 

Last Saturday Van der Haar won the first European title for the elite men. On Sunday he will be at the start of the fourth round of the Superprestige series in Gavere.
