The BMC Racing Team's roster for Volta a Catalunya includes Tejay van Garderen, last year's third-place finisher and the winner of Stage 4. The seven-day race begins Monday.

The American recently had a disappointing Paris-Nice and he will be eager to make up for that in Spain. He can count on support from Samuel Sanchez who will be starting his first stage race of the season as well as experienced climbers Amael Moinard, Ben Hermans and Peter Steina.

Darwin Atapuma will continue his comeback after he frectured his leg in last year's Tour de France. The team is completed by talented climbers Dylan Teuns and Manuel Senni who will both be starting their first WorldTour race in Spain.
