Dieter Vanthourenhout won the last cyclo-cross race of 2015. The Sunweb team played the game perfectly in Bredene as teammates Michael Vanthourenhout and Klaas Vantornout joined him on the podium.

The cyclo-cross race in Bredene marked the departure of Sunweb as main sponsor of Jurgen Mettepenningen's team. Klaas Vantornout and co wanted to give their sponsor a solid goodbye and they succeeded in the best possible way.

Gianni Vermeersch opened the action but was quickly joined by Sven Nys, Tim Merlier and a few teammates. Wout van Aert and the other top riders skipped the race in Bredene.

The dominance of Sunweb-Napoleon Games was too much for their rivals: after a few laps raced Dieter Vanthourenhout rode away and the 30-year-old Belgian easily rode to victory, mainly because his teammates played the team game perfectly.

The Sunweb party only got better when Michael Vanthourenhout and Klaas Vantornout joined their teammate on the podium.
