As Team Sky prepare to negotiate the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix classics, the team has released a video that gives you the lowdown about what these monument Classics are all about - with insights from the staff and riders who are set to tackle them.
It takes a special kind of rider to compete over 250 km of rough cobbled terrain, not to mention the stresses and strains on the bikes and equipment.
While Flanders on Sunday 31 March is famous for its tough ‘hellingen’ climbs, Paris-Roubaix on Sunday 7 April is a pan-flat test of endurance over bone-crushing sectors of pavé, each graded on their length and severity.
