AS , the official newspaper of the Vuelta a Espana (August 20-September 11), have revealed the full course for the 2016 edition of the Spanish grand tour will be officially presented on Saturday in Santiago de Compostela. There will be ten summit finishes and two time trials and the race will include seven stages in Galicia and five in Valencia and will pass through Castilla y Leon, Asturias, the Basque Country, Navarra, Aragon and Madrid.
With the yesterday's revelation of the summit finishes at Formigal and Mas de la Costa, AS are able to reveal all the start and finishing cities of the 2016 Vuelta but the official confirmation and details of the stages are still missing.
The 10 summit finishes include Mirador de Ézaro (3rd), San André de Teixido (Cedeira) (4th), La Camperona (8th), Naranco (9th), Lagos de Covadonga (10th), Peña Cabarga (11th) , Aubisque (14th), Formigal (15th), Mas de la Costa (17th) and Aitana (20th). There will be an opening team time trial and an individual test between Javea and Calpe two days before the finish in Madrid.
