A dramatic weekend is in store when the world's best cyclo-cross riders battle for a rainbow jersey and the honour of being the best of them all at the UCI Cyclo-Cross World Championships in the Dutch city of Hoogerheide. You can watch all the races below.

Belgium is going mad these days, with the entire nation having their eyes firmly directed towards the Dutch Hoogerheide where the national heroes face a hard battle for the cyclo-cross rainbow jerseys. The press has been building up the hype in recent days and the expectations for the world's leading nation are immense.

The racing kicks off on Saturday at 11.00 CET with the junior men's race which appears to be the most open affair. The Belgians have several different cards to play, led by Yannick Peeters who leads the world rankings. However, he will face fierce competition from the likes of World Cup winner Adam Toupalik (Czech Republic) an the local hero Joris Nieuwenhuis.

At 15.00 CET, it is time for what could be the most exciting duel of the entire weekend and the only race where Belgians cannot expect to shine. In the women's race, all is set for another thrilling battle between reigning world champion and local hero Marianne Vos who is looking to take her sixth straight rainbow jersey, and World Cup winner Katie Compton. In past years, Vos has had the upper hand but this season the dominant rider has been Compton who has her best ever chance of a maiden Worlds title.

Sunday opens with the U23 men's race which kicks off at 11.00 CET. In his first year as a U23 rider, Dutchman Matthieu van der Poel has been the dominant rider and he will be looking to continue his streak that includes two straight junior titles. However, he will not have it his own way as he faces Belgian Wout van Aert who has beaten him on a number of occasions, most recently in the final World Cup race in Nommay last weekend.

At 15.00 CET it is time for the pinnacle event, the elite men's race, where defending champion Sven Nys is the favourite to take a second consecutive and third ever title. He has been the dominant rider in recent months but will be up against hard competition from dark horse Zdenek Stybar who is reported to be in good condition despite having focused on his road career since his last cross race more than a month ago. Francis Mourey and Tom Meeusen have both shown great form recently while the Dutchmen will hope that World Cup winner Lars van der Haar will shine. And despite his recent struggles, Niels Albert looms in the background as a dark horse to take another title.
