Fabian Wegmann has announced that he will start his twelfth season at the Challenge de Mallorca. According to reports from the German website Radsport-news, the expert climber will start racing after a period at altitude with the Garmin-Sharp team in Sierra Nevada, with the aim to be in his the best condition for the start of Paris - Nice, his first major event of 2014. 

At the age of 34, Wegmann team will have an important leadership role for the young riders but he will be called upon to capture important results when there will be the opportunity.
