After the Ardennes classics, the Tour de France is the next big target of Tim Wellens. The 23-year-old Belgian made via Facebook his preparation towards 'La Grande Boucle' known. And that starts with an altitude training camp in the Sierra Nevada.
The altitude training will take place from 14 to 30 May and a week later, on June 7, Wellens goes back to racing at the start of the Critérium du Dauphiné. On June 16, two days after the Dauphine, Wellens leaves again for a week of altitude training before the Belgian National TT (26/6) and road race (28/6) for one last time into action before the start of the Tour de France on July 4.
