British Cycling has announced the Great Britain Cycling Team that will compete at the first round of the 2015/16 UCI Track Cycling World Cup in Cali, Colombia.
Fresh from winning a hat-trick of European titles, Laura Trott and Katie Archibald are both included in the squad, while Bradley Wiggins continues his return to the track with selection for the men’s team pursuit.
Ed Clancy has not been selected as he continues his recovery from a back injury.
Great Britain Cycling Team coach co-ordinator, Iain Dyer, said: “We had some really promising performances at the recent European championships and we’ll be hoping to take that form into the first track world cup of the season.
“We have selected a strong squad as we look to keep scoring vital qualifying points for the Olympics in Rio.”
