Since his ninth place last year, Bradley Wiggins is convinced that he can win Paris-Roubaix. To underline his determination to succeed in the classic in the north of France, he lays out a schedule for 2015 that is completely focused on the race.

Wiggins will start his season in sunny Spain, where he participates in the Mallorca Challenge. Then he moves to Qatar for another warm-up race in warm conditions.

After the stage-race in the oil-state, he moves to Belgium where he will start in the opener of the classic season. After 'the Omloop', he will also ride Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne. From then on he will completely focus on Paris-Roubaix

Team Sky director Servais Knaven spoke to Het Nieuwsblad about Wiggins’ ambitions for the cobble-race.

“Besides the Tour de France, this is the most popular race in Great Britain", says Knaven. Therefore it is a very important race for us. Yes, Team Sky would rather win Paris Roubaix than the Giro d’Italia.”
