Wouter Wippert will start his 2016 season at the Tour Down Under. That will also be his first race in the Cannondale jersey for the fast Dutchman who has made the move  from the Drapac team.

Wippert has good memories from the Tour Down Under. This year he took his first WorldTour win in the final stage in Adelaide. He will try to repeat that success in the green Cannondale jersey.

"50 days to go for my first race in Green! Looking forward to the 2016 season," he tweeted last Monday.

The Tour Down Under takes place from January 18-24.
