According to BBC Sports, the 2016 European Championships could be held in England. Representatives from Yorkshire are in talks with the European Cycling Union.
The 2016 edition which were due to be held in Nice from September 14 to 18, have been cancelled for security reasons after July's attack in the city which killed 85 people.
Another place in the northwestern part of France is also being considered.
