Even though Jasha Sütterlin certainly wasn’t the most impressive neo-pro of the 2014 season, apparently Movistar team were satisfied with his dedication and progress as they decided to extend his existing contract through 2017.
The current contract of the 22-year old German, who turned professional with the Spanish squad this season, wasn’t due to expire before the end of the 2015. This suggests that even if it wasn’t exactly reflected in results obtained by Sütterlin this year, he had to live up to expectations of his team.
Obviously, the 22-year old rider expressed his happiness for having his future in cycling secured until the end of the 2017 season.
"It makes me very happy that the team has such confidence in me, which I want to pay back with power, of course," Sütterlin told RadSport-News.
