Tinkoff-Saxo owner Oleg Tinkov wishes to sign some Russian riders for 2016. According to Het Nieuwsblad, Yuriy Trofimov will be very near to sign with this formation. 

 

This season, he finished tenth of the Giro d'Italia, his best result on a three-week race. In June, he won the National Road Race Championships. This title was for him "one of the most important wins of my career".
