After making his season debut at the Etoile de Besseges, Riccardo Zoidl continues his season this weekend, riding the Classic Sud Ardeche yesterday and the Drome Classic today. He continues on French soil in a weeks time at Paris-Nice and says he plans to ride the Tour de France this summer too, in an interview with Radstars.at.
"Should I be strong in form, my biggest goal is to participate in the Tour de France, which is quite realistic this year," Zoidl said, who rode his first Grand Tour in the previous year at the Giro d'Italia.
After Paris-Nice, he rides the Volta a Catalunya and Tour of Romandie, and the Austrian says a stage win in any big stage race is a big goal for him this year.
"A stage win in a stage race is a great goal," the 26 year old announced.
