Axel Domont (Ag2r) showed his usual aggressive sprit when he went on the attack in stage 2 of the Tour de Wallonie and was awarded the combativity prize.

"This morning I was still well placed overall," he told Directvelo. "When I attacked, I thought both about the stage win and to move up in the standings. There was a big fight. Etixx - Quick Step was up against a big breakaway with Philippe Gilbert. I hoped they had felt the effort. With enough time at the bottom of the last climb, anything was possible.
